The second owner was Dr. JP Wishau of Milwaukee, WI who purchased the car in the mid 80s, restored it in the late 80s at a cost of approximately $60,000, and continued to own it until xxxx. Dr. Wishau chose this car for restoration because it was completely straight and virtually rust free, and features a retractable cloth Webasto top. Gerhard Banfi was the coordinator of the complete restoration and did the majority of the work. The car was purchased in November, xxxx by Sergio and Lois Asensio of Lynchburg, Virginia. The car is currently maintained by Danny Bridgeworth of Lynchburg, Virginia, who works exclusively on classic cars as a sideline when hes not at his day job as a nuclear engineer with Areva. Annual state inspections were performed by Crossroads Mercedes of Lynchburg, Virginia.
